Regardless of whether or not the claim has been reported or a loss assessor appointed you must immediately do whatever is necessary to prevent further loss of life or property damage. This may include notifying emergency services to assist you
CLAIMS CONSIDERATION
- Do not under any circumstances admit liability either verbally or in writing or by paying an admission of fine even if you think it is your fault unless charged by the law. Your insurer is entitled to deny a claim or pay a reduced amount if statements made by you or your employees prejudice their position.
- It is essential that all claims or possible claims be advised to Broksure immediately by text, WhatsApp, email and direct calls.
What to expect upon submission of claims?
- Your insurers have the right to assess a loss.
- Your insurers the option to repair, replace, reinstate or pay cash.
- Do not dispose of damaged property and/or salvage until authorized to do so.
- Do not repair or replace lost or damaged property without obtaining authority from Broksure.
Motor Accident involving another party
- The name of the Third party, as well as the contact address.
- The registration number of the Third Party’s vehicle.
- The name of the Third Party’s insurance company and the policy number if possible.
- The name/number of the Police Officer in attendance and the accident report number.
- Names and addresses of witnesses.
- A photograph of the scene of accident including the damaged vehicles where possible.
